Tabot is the biggest cultural festival in Bengkulu. Tabot represent commemoration pass away grandchild  of Prophet Muhammad SAW at war in field of Karbela. This Ceremony is executed from date 1 muharram - 10 muharram every year.

Tabot executed in Tugu Field in front of Governor office of Bengkulu. This Ceremony is started with intake of land of tabot in Tapak Paderi by Reconciliation of Family of Tabot (KKT). Reconciliation of Family of Tabot is participant of ceremony of tabot coming from some area in Province of Bengkulu.

Many artistry executed in ceremony of tabot among others: Festival of Ikan-ikan (Fishs) and Telong-telong, Tokok Dol,  Tabot Menjara, Arak-arakan Sorban, Decorative Tabot competition, Tabot Sakral, Tabot Development, Exhibition Development, Traditional and Creation Dance and also Election of Putra-Putri Tabot.

Ceremony of Tabot hilarious is same of with ceremony of Sekaten in Yogyakarta. Ceremony of Tabot terminated with pageant of Tabot to be thrown to Mausoleum of Tabot in Padang Karabela, a location which located in street of Kinibalu, town of Bengkulu.
